I am so disappointed in where we are as a country, my mind has switched to far out places where the oceans are more tranquil, the breeze more soothing and the food divine and enticing. Where lobster over a grill is served with a glass of medium sweet white wine and music tinkles in the background without jarring your senses and disturbing the taste buds. The women are classily clad showing off parts that guarantee a night of near perfect ecstasy, because it is the right ambience to a tasty end. Where the night is lit all the time, the air conditioning runs twenty-four hours and the water is clean, fresh and flowing all the time; the pool shimmers with cool water and a gentle breeze invites you to ever so elegantly dip yourself into the water, energizing your body for another tomorrow. Because this is what they have in Singapore. Why can’t I have it in Ghana? Why should my life remain so miserable and fraught with so many blunders and blanks, that I am constantly th.....

In a contemporary world where economic and socio-cultural hardships have besieged society, one would have thought that people would strive to be innovative and to find lasting solutions to their problems. Instead, society has become flooded with too many people who always want the quick way out. For most of us especially in countries where the population is relatively young, much of the development that we have come to witness were already existing even before we were ever born. This is because there were people who decided to go beyond everyday regular routine patterns of thought, but rather decided to push their mental prowess into an all different level that have produced revolutionary results, thereby improving conditions for we the latter generation. So what could this mental laziness of a topic be at all? I personally define mental laziness as a state of mental rigidity where the individual is not motivated either internally or externally to go beyond the scope of h.....

President Mahama is a synonym for incompetence. And I wouldn’t hesitate to push a button to see his back in a heartbeat if it is that simple. In the midst of the economic gloom, which has been aggravated by the all pervasive dumsor, institutionalised judgement debt gravy train and blatant theft, it is very strange that his toady lieutenants still think he is the best thing that ever happened to Ghana. However, as a passionate believer in law and order I will prefer his exit through constitutional lawful means. Any means to push him via the back door i.e. assassination and you turn him into a martyr, which obviously we have to go through the painful transmogrification of this incompetent man into sainthood. The recent, so called, assassination attempt on his life has generated accusations and counter accusations. A plethora of conspiracy theories have surfaced all over the place to explain what is now turning out to be a bungling joke. The NPP’s take is that it was staged .....
